Sherman Oaks Hospital Recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a 2017-2018 High Performing Hospital

Specialty Recognition Includes High Performing Ratings in Treatment of Geriatrics & Heart Failure (CHF)

SHERMAN OAKS, Calif., August 22, 2017 – Sherman Oaks Hospital today announced that it has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a 2017-2018 High Performing Hospital earning high ratings in the treatment of Geriatrics and Heart Failure (CHF). The annual Best Hospitals recognition, now in its 28th year, is designed to help patients make informed decisions about where to receive care for life-threatening conditions or for common elective procedures.

For the 2017-2018 rankings, U.S. News evaluated more than 4,500 medical centers nationwide in 25 specialties, procedures, and conditions. In the 16 specialty areas, 146 hospitals were ranked in at least one specialty. In rankings by state and metro area, U.S. News recognized hospitals as high performing across multiple areas of care.

In addition to the U.S. News & World Report awards, Sherman Oaks Hospitals has been recognized for its quality of care by receiving honors from The Joint Commission, Truven Analytics, Healthgrades, among others.
