The Center for Reconstruction & Wound Healing
Comprehensive Approach to Wound Care
The Center for Reconstruction & Wound Healing uses the most advanced
healing techniques that aid and accelerate the healing process of chronic
or non-healing wounds. Our Center is staffed by a multi-disciplinary team
of physicians, nurses and technicians with advanced training in wound
care and hyperbaric. We utilize a comprehensive approach to treat all
wounds, but specialize in those that have become chronic or difficult to heal.
Personalized, Patient-Focused Care
We work with each patient's referring physician to determine the most
cost effective course of treatment, keep the physician apprised of patient
progress and discharge the patient to his or her care upon completion
of treatment. For physicians, wound care centers such as ours, can serve
as an adjunct to their practice and as a specialized tool. For patients
with complex or chronic wounds, our wound care center can make an enormous
difference in their quality of life.
Advanced Wound Care, including Hyperbaric
The Center utilizes a comprehensive approach in the assessment and evaluation
of wounds through various treatment modalities including medical debridement,
advanced vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures, hyperbaric
medicine, and plastic and reconstructive surgeries.
The Center has seven (7) individual private consultation and treatment
rooms, a vascular laboratory suite, and two (2) state-of-the-art monoplace
(single-person) hyperbaric oxygen therapy chambers. The medical services
are complemented by experienced, highly qualified nursing personnel to
make your treatments safe and as comfortable as possible.
Advanced treatment modalities performed include
- Negative pressure wound therapies
- Surgical revascularization
- Bioengineered skin substitutes
- Healing-centric medical care
- Reconstructive surgical interventions
