Encino Hospital Medical Center and Sherman Oaks Hospital To Celebrate National Wear Red Day

02-04-2016

Part of The American Heart Association Go Red for Women Campaign

With your help, we can break the barriers against heart disease and stroke for our friends, family, mothers, sisters, daughters and colleagues.

On February 5th, it is National Wear Red Day® and Encino Hospital Medical Center and Sherman Oaks Hospital will “Go Red” to join the movement to end heart disease and support stroke awareness.

According to the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (N.I.H.) in the U.S, Coronary Heart Disease is the “#1 killer of women in the United States”.

Wear red.

Please help us observe National Wear Red Day®.

This hospital awareness event furthers Encino Hospital Medical Center’s and Sherman Oaks Hospital’s commitment to Stroke Awareness and will launch our collaborative efforts with the Los Angeles Fire Department in an upcoming community wide “Stroke Awareness - Chili Cook Off” event on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 10-2pm at Station 83 in Encino, California.
